Eight Days Left in Session Edition of Reading & Podcast Picks
Latitude's Open Circuit podcast on Texas policy; solar & storage helping Texas during early heat waves; Fire Weather; utility regulation in the current Texas legislative session; and more
Reading and Podcast Picks is a collection of what we’ve been reading and listening to over the last week or so about energy topics.
Also, for those wanting to closely follow the session with only eight days to go, there will be a Senate Business & Commerce Committee meeting today at 3:30. It will likely be the final B&C meeting and the last chance for some important bills, including House Bill 14 on nuclear to get voted out of committee.
I will be on Substack Chat at 3:30 CT today during the B&C meeting to provide updates on the meeting and on the status of the various important energy bills. Join me then, or if you’re a paid subscriber, you can check out the chat anytime at this link.
And for an upcoming podcast, I’m going to answer your questions. Let me know what you’re wondering about and I’ll do my best to answer as many of them as possible. Leave your questions or the topics you’d like me to cover in the comments or email them to stoicenergyconsulting@gmail.com
In addition to the R&P Picks, paid subscribers receive access to the archives, all of the Grid Roundups, the full archives, and select episodes of the Energy Capital Podcast. I never want money to be a barrier to the information. If you can’t afford a subscription, you can request a complimentary subscription in an email to stoicenergyconsulting@gmail.com.
