Despite pleasant spring weather, batteries nearly hit a record Sunday, serving 10% of demand as thermal outages were up significantly to over 28,000 megawatts.
House Committee will hear House Bill 14 to create the Texas Advanced Nuclear Energy Fund
SB 388 and SB 6 were placed on the Senate intent calendar and will likely be on the Senate floor this week. SB 388 would severely curtail the growth of the Texas economy while accelerating the growth of electric bills.
ERCOT says Kinder Morgan is over 1,000 days past due for a fee the agency says they haven’t paid
Today is Day 64 of the 140 day legislative session. The bill filing deadline was Day 60, last Friday. There are over 3,000 Senate bills and over 5,600 House bills filed this year. That’s up about 10% from last year. Now comes the time for the chambers to choose what they’ll prioritize.
