The Texas Senate reminds the PUC how much they dislike the capacity market construct known as the Performance Credit Mechanism and Chairman Schwertner gets PUC Chair Gleeson and ERCOT CEO Pablo Vegas on the record supporting ERCOT’s energy-only market design.
Meanwhile, the PUC received 22 comments yesterday in response to 30+ Commission questions on the PCM which, if adopted, would move Texas to a capacity market.
An overview of the notices of intent (NOI’s) to the Texas Energy Fund and a look at just how many of these plants might be covered by available funds.
Another failed ERCOT procurement on demand response including some suggestions as to how to make the next one successful.
