Today in the Grid Roundup:

  • The Texas House had a grid hearing Monday and the Senate committee hearing is underway right now. Some initial observations are below;

  • According to the Independent Market Monitor, new renewable energy reduced market prices in 2023;

  • ERCOT Board materials show major jump in batteries; and

  • PUC set to move forward and open formal comment period on a new reliability standard at their Open Meeting tomorrow.
