CenterPoint's $2 billion resiliency plan, PUC's energy efficiency questions, ERCOT reliability standard meeting Thursday, and how EPA's new rules on coal & gas plants will impact ERCOT
Finally! The PUC has opened a docket with a list of energy efficiency questions, hopefully foreshadowing a move to scale up the use of demand side resources to increase reliability and lower consumer costs. As I reported earlier, the utilities proposed a new thermostat program and retail electric providers filed comments to support it. The PUC requests comments on that by tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1.
