The Texas State Auditor identifies problems with Railroad Commission’s inspections. Frozen gas infrastructure was one of the major causes of the Winter Storm Uri blackouts and remains a significant risk in future winter storms;
Energy Information Administrations says 50 gigawatts of solar and storage will be added in the US this year, and an astounding 40% of it will be built in Texas;
ERCOT data shows nearly 10 gigawatts of wind, solar, and storage built so far this year, with more storage connected so far this year than solar or wind;
Commission announces two workshops on Senate Bill 6 implementation on September 2, will cover load forecasting and co-location of data centers with existing generation;
