The Texas Energy Fund Advisory Committee meets tomorrow; the PUC heard from Houstonians Saturday; ERCOT posts Texas A&M study showing massive energy efficiency potential.

The Texas Energy Fund Advisory Committee will meet tomorrow, October 8. It’s their first meeting and they’ll discuss the controversial project canceled last month. I’ll be on Substack Chat to liveblog and chat with paid subscribers from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
The PUC held a public meeting in Houston on Saturday but no public input was taken during the first three hours. Lt. Gov Patrick called for CenterPoint CEO Jason Wells to resign and for the PUC to deny CenterPoint’s request to withdraw its rate case.
ERCOT posted a report they commissioned from Texas A&M that shows massive potential for winter peak reductions equal to the entire demand of the Houston area.
