ERCOT CEO Pablo Vegas told the Austin American Statesman that SB 819, SB 388, SB 715/HB 3356 increase grid-related risks, says “we need to have all the resources available” to meet rapid load growth;
His comments were made at the ERCOT Innovation Summit, which included discussion of ERCOT’s new residential demand response initiative;
A heavily amended, much improved House Bill 3556 passed the House after a dramatic vote on an amendment offered by House Energy Resources Chairman Drew Darby;
